i could a few days ago. when i right click to add appointment (or all day event, anything) nothing happens. no error message, no appointment added. nothing.

any suggestions?

oh, yeah, and i've tried restarting outlook and adding appointments in all the different calendar views.

Did you have an update recently?

I think theres a windows update that fixes a few bugs with calendars and appointments. Try going to the microsoft page and look for an update.

If all else fails, do a system restore. Just restore it a few days ago. Go to START then programs, then accessories, then system tools. Use system restore to fix your outlook if it did indeed work a few days ago.

Also go back to outlook and go to the HELP menu. Try the Detect and Repair option.

can you see existing calendar by clicking in left page. If so, open existing calendar and Click 'Ctrl-N', it should give you new calendar instance.
