Depends... If its for a party of close friend then the cake, but if its for a party where alot of people may not be familier with each other then cupcakes would be better. If its mixed then cake.

Depends, like if its a little kids party then go for cupcakes, but if it's teens then cake would be better

If your deciding just make some mini cupcakes. That way they can be eaten in one bite, you don't have a trail of crumbs to vacuum up nor do you have to shake the crumbs off your shirt.

I agree, cupcakes are easier, no plates and forks to wash afterwards, and you could let everyone frost and decorate their own cupcake. Fun for everyone.
