A ANB (automatic noise blanker) and a ANL (automatic noise limiter) are both nice features, especially if you're gonna put them in a vehicle. Mine has both and they work very well in combination. You also might look into a unit that is not just AM but SSB as well. They are pricier but SSB has much better throughput. A lot of people might try to tell you that you can only use SSB on certain channels, but that is a regional thing set up by individuals trying to cut interference. According to the FCC, all 40 channels are open to both modes. Having both modes gives you 120 "channels" to play with.

There is a lot to know about a CB radio there are certain channels you can be on codes to know and recognize. Plus there are certain restrictions about the antenna. However CB radios are a lot of fun. There 2 web sites that are helpful but I forgot the when I remember I will post them.

I like my CB with that also picks up the weather channels. Get a K40 antena, they are the best. Also PA (public announcement) is a great feature. Pick up a SWR meater to tune your antena when you first install it. Othwer wise you want more AMPS for less Money ;)
