When you are told NOT to do something when taking a medication, it is for a reason. You do not take milk/dairy products with certain medications because the dairy products either interfere with the absorption of the medication or they totally deactivate it. Why pay all that money for a medication if you are going to sabotage it's ability to work by consuming a dairy product? If you want to get better, take the medication exactly as described....even if it means avoiding certain foods during that time.

you may not get the full effect of the medicine.... meaning, you don't get better as quickly as you could.
