what colors do you mix to make black color for cake decorating?

i have the colors red orange yellow and blue

im making a guitar so i would like black

white, yellow, and red are the best colours.

mix all of the colors together and you will have a blackish brownish color so then you add a little more blue then if that isn't enough add some green (a drop of blue and 2 drops yellow) and that should do it. but some times because of the age of the coloring you may just have to buy black!

black is all colors. White is the absence of all colors so to make black you need all the primary colors mixed. Yellow, red, blue

you can always use food coloring, or you can get special icing coloring, but it's a bit more expensive. You can always find interesting food coloring around holidays like halloween, but since halloween was months ago, you can probably just mix all the colors together and they'll turn black I'm sure. Over time I've tried red and blue, but it never makes black black. Cake decorating stores and on-line have black.

You have to buy black food coloring gel. All colors mixed together make brown.

it doen'st work like that.. mixing the colors won't give you the true black . purple is another hard color to mix.

Buy the color.. you will probably use it again in the future
