omg ..i want to be more than just friends = i want sex.....so your next question should be ...are you ready for this? my best friend is male...and i love him with all my heart...but if he ever said that to me...i couldnt do it..nor would i want to....as my best friend i know that no matter what my life encounters....breaking up with b/f, ex hubby...or whatever he is there for me...but if he became my b/f as in intimate..and something happened to our relationship ..i would lose that...and he means too much to me to lose...so please think this about before you act.
on the other hand...alot of people wind up marrying and their best friends and living happily ever after...no one really knows what the future holds for any of us...life is poker hand...you play with the hand that is dealt to you.

If you really want to expand on a friendship, ask her out on a date. Romance her a bit. But always be respectful.
