Only in extreme cases, like if someone has allergies sooooo bad that they break out in hives... then it affects their breathing and they don't go to the E.R. in time... they could go in shock, respiratory failure... etc. I'm severly allergic to cats and I acutally asked my Dr. this...

Although very extreme and unlikely it could happen. If a person is allergic to anything and isn't treated for it then a lot of problems could arise. A good allergy medication and medical treatment could spark a happier and healthier relationship with the cat.

no but I know a girl who's allergic to cats and owns ten of them because she's such a huge animal lover. She just takes a shot when it's needed, for her allergies.
