MY FAITH IS IN ME. I BELIEVE IN ME. I AM AN AGNOSTIC

Dear brainwashed, uneducated person (insulting isn't it?)...

You don't understand the lack of faith. It's an entirely different mode of thinking, which you have not attempted to understand. If you did attempt it, (which would be quite frightening for you, btw), you would become a much wiser person.

Basically, you have to get over the fear of questioning your faith. This has been instilled in you since birth, by the theistic society that we live in. Once you do that, you'll disover the answer on your own. But you have to take that step first.

But the answer, which will make no sense to you right now, is that people don't need faith in anything. The only thing people need faith in, is something that is illogical, and has no facts to support it. There are those who choose the easy path, and follow the herd, believing in something because everyone else does. And then there are those who believe what they experience, study, and test. There is no lack of enlightenment or joy living a life without faith. However, it can be a bit lonely being a minority. That, I'll grant you.

Dear friend..."spiritually blind" may not be a phrase you want to use if you want honest answers to your questions. Faith does NOT mean one has a belief in "god".

I am atheist. I am spiritual. I have faith in life and matters that I deem important. Here is a few of MANY things I deem important in my life.

Learning about world around me. That includes the various religions and philosophies and spiritualities of the world.

My ethics and morals that I learned growing up and worked very hard to hone and to live by.

I try very hard to take faith in human dignity, altruism, compassion, knowledge that can help me be a better person overall.

Making an impact on others' lives in my own little way and helping others the best I can.

Learning more about myself, my Inner Self and to have better communications with my Inner Conscience.

Most (not all) sciences and their theories.

What say you??

No, not everyone has faith. Faith is belief without any evidence. I don't have faith, I don't want faith, I think faith is about the most retarded idea mankind has ever come up with.

Edit: The things I can know exist. The things that I can sense, or something can help me sense. Reality.

my faith lies in spirituality, God is what I refer to that as, but not God in the snese of the bible. God in the sense of just believing. I have faith in angels, and I could care less who's gay or who uses birth control, or who has an abortion (all against the bible). I believe in the good faith of all people. I think all people have the ability to be an angel, only some do. I believe heaven is right here on earth, and so is hell.

As Allah indicates: "We did not create heaven and earth and everything between them to no purpose. That is the opinion of those who are disbelievers." (Surah Sad: 27)
it is wrong to suppose that the universe was created in vain. A philosophy so utterly flawed as materialism and systems based on it were doomed to failure from the very beginning. Science tells us each and every one of the laws of physics, chemistry, and biology, of the fundamental forces such as gravity and electromagnetism, and of the details of the structure of atoms and the elements of the universe has been precisely tailored so that human beings may live. Scientists today call this extraordinary design the "anthropic principle". This is the principle that every detail in the universe has been carefully arranged to make human life possible. Creation is a fact.

They put thier faith in things that do not matter in the end because every thing will be destroyed at one time or another, any one can die at any time, that is the wages for sin, and if they don't realize this, it will be too late, these false idols lead to satin, and there is only one way to God, through Jesus Christ.

My faith is in God. I believe we were all "wired" to have faith in something. It's just in our make up. What we have faith in though is a choice.

"Faith" is belief without supporting evidence. I have faith in nothing, thank-you, and manage to enjoy this fleeting life without fairies, goblins or gods. I see no evidence to support most systems of religious belief, & plenty of evidence to dispute them, so I think I will do without.

I'm a nice guy, I think I am just and fair, so if I die and there does happen to be a god, I'll ask him to consider my record and do as he sees fit. If my behaviour isn't good enough to overcome my lack of belief, then I have no respect for him/it/them anyway.
