MrsDokter, we Mormons do not believe in the Trinity the same way that the Catholics believe in the Trinity. We believe in God, the Eternal Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost. They are three SEPARATE beings but are one in purpose. We do not stem off from the Methodists (Joseph Smith was never actually baptized into the church). We also partake of the sacrament every Sunday. Nice try though! :-)

The first thing to come to mind was Catholicism, but then you said it stems from Methodist so I figured it was Pentecostal, but I'm going to say that it is Mormons or the Church of Jesus Christ's Latter Day Saints. That's my guess.
