Trying to sound wise, are we? We fail. That simply doesn't make sense.

We all have free will. Usually the bad has some sort of reward at the end. Doing the right thing may be something that we don not want to do because we get no material reward. For example, lets say your brother tells you not to eat his cookie that is sitting right next to you. He goes out of eye sight and leaves you with a mouth watering chocolate chip cookie. To do the bad thing would be to eat it yet you would taste the melty chocolate goodness. To do the right thing would be not to eat it. It is hard to tell yourself no but in the end you still get a reward with God. It's just one we cannot touch, taste, see, or feel but it is there.

Weird isn't it! The bad is always more believable. That's like a rumor ... a rumor that is false ... people would love to spread a rumor before they would truth. The truth spiritual when it comes to God and Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, is just too good to be true. They just don't want to believe.
Remember this: The devil is a deceiver and his goals are to steal, kill and destroy. Most importantly to keep the truth from being known.

Because when people say "it's too good to be true"....it is.
In a 50/50 situation of something bad or good happening, you theoretically have a 50% chance of being right. Yet somehow, 90% of the time, it's bad. It's just the facts of life :(.

It's easier to believe the bad because people don't want to risk being disappointed.
Believe the bad, and if you are wrong you are pleasently surprised.
Believe the good, and if you are wrong it hurts really bad.
I still prefer optimism though :)
