Very true some pewople have a diffrent understanding of it. BUt no, the only thing that you will be accounted for is if you brought people to his kingdom, or at least introduce.

Interest thought. Yes, we'll be accountable. As to what you are accountable for, that depends on what tradition you follow, if any, but really its reasonable to say you are accountable only for that which has been revealed to you.

It is written (left my Bible at home, sorry I don't have the citation) in the epistles that leaders are responsible for right direction to their flocks. However, since we have been given the Word as a mystery to explore (yes, there are some very self-evident parts to it, a great deal of perspicuity, but a lot that requires careful study before understanding and lot on which serious scholars disagree) and means of understand God, it seems to me that we should study sincerely and rely upon our minds, hearts and faith.

If you have in mind the Kingdom of Heaven, I think your errors won't be accounted against you.

Besides, sharing what you believe is all you are doing - if someone chooses to believe that, it is of their own volition and it is their responsibility.

Yes you will be judged. You don't need to come out wrong in heaven. Ask others. Also pray. The bible says" If any man lack wisdom, let him ask of God that gives to all man liberally and upbraided not; and it shall be given him.

I tell them to read the Bible for themselves as well. The Apostles agreed with this. Problem is people tend to pick and choose what they are willing to accept and what is too offensive to them... they won't accept the entire message and pick the carrots out of the peas.

as long as you are not a pompous a s s of a christian, who forces their beliefs on everyone who is happy with their own views, and makes them feel as if they are a piece of crap because they are not christian, then theres nothing wrong with teaching the good moral lessons that the bible and Jesus teach us.

but, if you take the bible seriously, and are more concerned with changing people, than living a just and moral life, then you should go to hell.

This is an excellent question! The Bible says 'Every sin' will be forgiven except the one that 'you do not believe' in Christ. Any other sin or a mistaken understanding shall be forgiven when you believe in Him.

interesting

Just see this.

Firstly came Abraham.

Then there was an old bible and people had different values from the new testament. Jesus came and gave his teachings.

Then came Mohammad. Updated version, new teachings.

Now who knows... maybe someone else will be yet another prophet.. maybe you? why should you be judged?

if you believe in GOD you should believe everything the bible says, not just what you pick and choose. that is not how it works. if you delibritly lead someone the wrong way you will be held responsible. the devil believes in GOD. alot of people believe in GOD. the difference is if you worship and follow HIM.

Teach from the bible and ask God for guidance. God will place in man's heart what He wants. It up to us what we will and will not believe.

Why can't you just let people believe what they want without the bible?
