There is a really good exercize that my Phiz Ed teacher taught me it's called plank. you go down on your elbows with your palms on the ground and then for the bottom half of your weight stand on your toes like you would do a push up then make your entire body stiff as a plank and hold it starting at 15 seconds and increasing the time as you become more comfortable with it.

A lot depends on your body type, if you gain weight quickly in your stomach area you will also be able to lose it quickly there too.
The best way would be to start doing a lot of excericse in the stomach area. If crunchies on the hard floor sounds painful, consider investing $10 in a excercise ball, it's a lot more fun and no hard back pains.
Modifications to the diet is a must, eliminate sugars and processed carbohydrates, eat more greens a whole lot more (minerals in the greens reduce cravings for processed food, flushe out any toxins that result in the mucus build up in your body, which can result in some weight loss, revitalize and rebuild your body). Eat more proteins less carbohydrates (this does not mean don't eat carbohydrates, you body still needs them), chose complex rather than processes simple carbohydrates.

You didn't say how long you have been doing this. If it has been for sometime than I bet you have lost some weight. The body plateaus at a certain weight and just seems to sit there for a week or two and then it will start to loose weight again. Sounds like you may be in the plateau stage.

There is no way to target where you lose weight. All you can do is lose weight all over and increase the muscle mass of specific areas. So cardio helps lose weight, but sit-up only can increase muscle mass

Sit ups ... seriously. This way you are targeting the stomach specifically.

Why, is your weight too tight??
Loose is the opposite of tight.
LEARN TO SPELL.
The word you want is spelled L-O-S-E.
Exercise more, eat less. Spot reducing does not work.
And learn to spell!
