Do you know how illegals pay taxes?

It seems that a lot of people talks trash about how illegals don't pay taxes, granted a lot of them don't, but many do, the way that they pay taxes is that even if they use a fake SSN they can get an ITIN (individual taxpayer id number) which they can use at the end of the year to present their earnings to the IRS and do the same thing all Americans do. It seems a lot of people is agnorant of this fact. This goes for those who don't think illegals have a way of paying taxes.

FYI IRS has information on most illegals wether they admit it or not is a different story.

Yes they do pay taxes: Every time they spend their hard earned money they pay tax. Every time you pay the landlord you pay property tax. Every time you pay your utilities you pay a tax. Every time you buy fuel you are taxed. Cigarettes and alcohol is taxed. Clothes, food, and entertainment is taxed. It's not their fault they are not paying income tax. It’s the fault of the person hiring them. It is the responsibility of the employer to pay that tax. You want to recommend an ITIN to someone who has no rights as a citizen? Whatever. I would tell any Illegal to not even worry about a little tax money... We have much bigger crooks to worry about... Enron, WorldCom, Adelphia, to name a few. Keep your money, you’re going to need it for health care!

Not ignorant about the fact, it's just a huge waste of energy to even discuss it. The fact remains that few illegals get an ITIN. First, they don't plan on becoming citizens, so they aren't going to pay taxes. Second, it's more lucrative to just steal SS#'s so that they can file and take all the deductions. I'd really like to see the statics on just how many of these 12 million illegals actually have an ITIN.

its like talking to a brick wall my friend. people, especially those who r not from Mexican descent only see & hear what they want to. they r quick to pass judgement on things they have no idea about and act agressively becuase of their ignorance. the illegals do pay taxes, SS, etc.. Temporary employment agencies give thousands of jobs 2 these people and yes they r on payroll, so they have their taxes out like everyone else. and some lazy americans-yes Lazy-, sell their SSnumbers to illegals so they can collect the refunds at the end of the year. so i guess one hand washes the other. don't let the plethra a racists get to u here, cuz they r out there.

Every single person who comes on a work visa pays taxes when the visa expires. We are counted as illegals, but guess what?
I pay ALL taxes Americans pay! Your grandparents's medicare is paid by you AND me!
Also, even the Mexicans pay sales tax and they create demand for goods and services. Millions of jobs are opened because of 12 mln immigrants. EVERY economy is benefited my more consumers! Sales tax is big boon to the economy, let alone all the taxes people on expired visas pay!

No I don't. That's because if Illegals paid taxes, then the IRS or Tax Revenue would have address on them and then they'd be able to be picked up and sent back to where they came from.

Do you know if you have a social security number used by an illegal you can't get Social Security disability insurance until the issue is resolved? Perhaps if more people knew about the penalties for having innocent thieves in our country they wouldn't employ them so easily.
