my bf was stokin mad at me one time... I bought a tray of sushi to go, cause he loves it soooo much. When he came home, that night, I headed upstairs, took a bubble bath and was laying on the bed naked with the sushi strategically placed on my naked body like a serving tray with a bottle of saki on the night stand and candles lit, drapes drawn and called him upstairs.
I was forgiven and afterwards, I got to thank him for something else. =)
I think he would pay attention to the details of THAT table setting.. wouldn't you say you are elegant?

Try this:
www.epicurious.com
Great website for recipes and tips on romantic dinners. Italian is usually fairly easy to make and almost always a safe bet that he'll like it. Pick up a couple of long stemmed candles to place on each side of a small flower arrangement. You'll want to have the flower arrangement short enough that you can see each other over it without getting a kink in your neck. Set the mood with low lighting and soft dinner music (pick something out of your collection that's slower, more romantic).
Have fun!

i like the picnic idea but have a couple of different things. due to it being hot as all **** you should make the savoury simple and make a real tasty dessert like fudge brownies men love those sweet chocolatey things. go to the deli at woolies or wherever you shop and pick up a whole heap of little meats and cheeses and olives and all that tasty stuff. get some crackers and favourite dip to go with. use the meat as a wrap for the cheese and olives, sundried tomatoes, grilled eggplant, grilled capsicum, etc. if you have never tried them before give it a go they are really yum and it will be a unique experience between you and your man that you will remember for a long time. go to the beach or to the creek or to your local lookout somewhere real picturesque and watch the sun go down. dont settle for the park or your backyard, its not as romantic is it. good luck and have a good time

Just dress up his favorite meal. Make it special- prepare it with extra care and go all out with a menu of his favorites. He'll notice if you light a candle on the table too- or you could use floating candles and float some flowers in there as well. Lay out a nice tablecloth and open a bottle of wine. Use cloth napkins and match all the plates/silverware/glasses. Don't forget dessert! Something rich and chocolatey. Serve it on your body maybe???

Well.. I might be able to help. I prepared a quick dinner for my man and he loved it and had a great night after that ;).
Simple and easy.
Appetiser: Salad.
Ingredients: Corn, asparaus, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, mushroom, And as a dressing, mustard and lemon juice with a bit of salt and pepper and olive oil.
Main Course: since i am lebanese, i did something lebanese for him. But i suggest to prepare pasta ( considering it's italian and italians are known for their romantic dinners).
Try this: It's easy and probably new to you: Boil pasta ( whatever kind you like, fettucini, penne..), and prepare yoghurt( the one for cooking), and minced garlic, with a bit of salt. Add the pata in a bowl and add the yoghurt on top, then sprinkle some dried mint leaves. Before u serve, mix it infront of your man!
As for dessert, Get a ready made chocolate brownie, with fresh strawberries, and Vanilla ice cream. Put a scoop of ice cream on top of each brownie, and a strawberry on top, then add chocolate syrup.
It's easy, and doesnt take alot of time, plus it will make your man full and will enjoy it. The main course might sound werid to you if you are not Lebanese, but it's very tasty. Try it, and if you dont like it, try something else, like Steak with mashed potaoes, or ribs. Men love meat! hehe!
Hpeo i was helpful
Good luck!
ooh: Dont forget the bottle of red wine with the pasta! Preferably Merlot.

Roses, candles, low lights, soft music, faint fragrance
you don't have to cook - order from a good restaurant that has take out in advance, pick up the food, and then present it on a plate in a nice manner. It saves you time to look pretty and prevent any cooking mishaps. The idea is to focus on the relationship over the dinner, not necessarily the food.

This is easy!
Whenever my man is mad at me I simply make him his favorite meal!
It could be fettuccine Alfredo, steak & potato, lasagna, what ever his favorite food is! If its something silly like pizza you could always order it before he gets home, make it look all fancy on a platter, and light some candles.
make it personal for him. he will love it.
