Extremely bad for you. Splenda, Equal and anything like it have aspartame. When this passes through your arteries it creates tiny scratches or scars, over years of extensive use of course. Then when fat deposits in your blood pass through, they stick to your artery walls which leads to heart disease and then your screwed.White sugar is also bad for you because they bleach it, hence the white part.Raw brown sugar is in its natural state and minimally processed, its the best.

Splenda is derived from sugar and is NOT aspartame. It is a good sugar substitute that doesn't carry that metallic after taste. If you buy the Splenda spoon for spoon, intended for baking, you can make almost any baked product that you would normally use sugar in. The only drawback is that it won't brown as nicely as sugar filled products will. That an the volume is a bit lower. Instead of getting a dozen muffins from a recipe you only get about 9. It also does not contain Phenylalanine, they want pregnant women to stay away from this. It causes Phenylketonuria. It is a preventable form of mental retardation that is totally preventable if it is caught early on. There is a blood test that they do on babies about 4 days after they are born to detect this. So, as a safe alternative, I would suggest Splenda. It is also diabetic approved.

Yes, it might be. Anything that is artificial normally has chemicals in it that is not healthy for you. There is research on splenda and other artificial sweetners if you look it up in the internet. Research shows that it might cause cancer. Better use the "real stuff" in moderation.

Personal opinion, there's no evidence yet that I know of but I am suspicious. There have been sugar substitutes in the past that had to be pulled off the market, aspartame for one.

I don't think it is bad for you. It has all natural ingredients, unlike some sweetners. I love it, and it hasn't had any adverse effect on me or my family. :-D
