"Reverse discrimination is a term used to describe discriminatory policies or acts that benefit a historically sociopolitically nondominant group (typically women and minorities), rather than the historically sociopolitically dominant group."

Typically things like affirmative action as categorized as Reverse Discrimination.

However, in my own personal belief descrimination is wrong.

What does "reverse discrimination mean? Well, it isn't defined in law or regulation, so you have to look at what it means by looking at common useage. Most people understand "reverse discrimination" to mean discrimination against a qualified nonminority by giving preference to a less qualified minority or to a woman. Regardless of what you call it, it is still discrimination - it is still wrong. So when we talk about discrimination, we include illegal discrimination against minorities and nominorities, men and women.

Reverse discrimination in theory would be minorities discriminating against the majority, for example African Americans discriminating against white Americans. However, the idea of "reverse" discrimnation is problematic. I think that it is discrimination no matter who is doing the discriminating.

A form of discrimination created by the Political Correctness zealots of this world to give minories (women, blacks, asians, etc) an unfair advantage in positions of work (usually) such as the Police force to create "diversity in the workplace" at the expense of other candidates (usually White & Male) regardless of how much better qualified the person(s) that made way for the minority candidates may have been.
