"We've been in the end of times, since Jesus was on the earth."
(that's a long time..."End of times/Last Days isn't a recent thing." Things have been unfolding since Jesus was here...He was part of prophecy being fulfilled...)
I'm interested what Christians especially think about this. Ofcourse, everyone is FREE to give their opinion...

**I've never question whether we are in END TIMES. I "KNOW" we are!
What I do find remarkable is the fact, there are alot of Christians who don't realize we've been in End Times/Last Days since Christ first appeared...that's what evoked the question. (i wanted to see where the Christians on here stood on this particular topic...)
Also, a note to 'blacklablover'...I like thinking 'deep'. (I get bored with 'simple' stuff.)
God Bless.

I think weve been heading to the end times since Jesus was on Earth. Everyone since then thought they were living in the end times, just like some now do, so thats nothing new. i dont think weve been living it this whole time, but rather living in what proceeds it. Hope that makes sense.

You are absolutley right, we have been living in the end times for quite a while, but if you remember, the bible talks about a new age after this one is over in which Christ will establish His kingdom here on earth for 1000 years and there will finally be peace. The true end of the planet will not happen until all things have been fufilled. Our age may be coming to an end but it will only bring about the begining of another one.
Even after the heavens and the earth pass away, the words of christ will still remain.

I agree. There are prophecies still to be fulfilled. End times could not start until the birth of the Messiah was completed. All prophesied in the Old Testament and fulfilled in the New.
I know people say that the end of times have been incorrectly predicted many times, and that is true, but since Israel's capture of their land in 1948, things keep getting more and more in place for prophecies to be completed and end times Rapture and Armageddon to take place. Until the last quarter century or less, it has not been possible for example, to have the entire world see the two witness that will come. It is possible know due to technology. That is just one of many many examples that correlate with things Jesus told us to watch out for.
Of course we will not be able to pin it down to a date, but Jesus did say we would know when it was near. I for one think it is closer than many realize.

Psalms 90:4 For a thousand years in Your sight Are like yesterday when it passes by, Or {as} a watch in the night
2 Peter 3:8But you must not forget, dear friends, that a day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day.
We need to understand Gods timing, to Christ it has only been 2 days since the Resurrection. And the third day is dawning...
2000yrs Adam to Moses 2000 from Moses to Jesus, 2000 yrs from Jesus to now but it is all 6 days to God... 7th day is Gods day of rest we are at the dawn of the 7th day in history! 7 is completion in Gods terms...
There is a lot more to this i tried to break it down quickly for you.... every thing in His word has meaning you just need to find it... Messesnger
sorry had to correct myself..

I would believe so. The end times refer to the time before Christ returns so that would be the time since he left. I don't think though, that they were as much in it as we were. The book of Daniel gives a lot of prophecy about the end times and it's an incredible point of reference for a lot of end times books writers. So, it's very important for people who want to speak about the end times to read up and know what the entire Bible says about it.

Peter said it was the last days in His first sermon at Pentecost-
Acts 2:14-17
But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
‘ And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;

Maybe time ends because we simply decide that it never existed in the first place. If Jesus' promise for eternal life was true wouldn't that put an end to all time? So if one chooses the way of Christ aren't they walking above and outside of time on pathways that transcend the restrictions and measurements of mortality?

Yes we indeed are in the end times and probably getting close to the end of the end times. I think this because the Bible says that the generation that sees Isreal become a nation again shall not pass away before the end. Personally I welcome it. The world is getting worse not better. Not really a surprise but very disheartening.

We are looking at time through our time table, the bible says:2 Peter 3:8: But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
God is also merciful. Do you see how many souls would be lost if he came right now.

Read the New Testament and judge for yourself. The spirit of antichrist has been at work in the world since the 1st century. And indeed, that is a long time if you think of it in temporal terms. Think of it in relation to eternity. For since God existed before time, in time, outside of time, and will exist for all time and beyond time, 2000 years is a short time. I know that sounds like a bunch of double talk, and might be confusing. But really think about it for yourself.
