see look he likes this girl but he likes me to and the girl he likes he asked out and she said i don't know twice and i want him to know that i'm available but it's that saying (friends don't date friends) thing?

Well, I think, if you guys are really good friends... tell him. Let him know how you feel about him. maybe he don't even know you like him like that, so he hasn't noticed you... tell him... what's the worst that could happen... you get him?

Look, I had a really good friend in high school, matter of fact, he was my BEST friend we could talk about anything. He and his girl of like 2 years split up and I was feelin him a lot so what did I do? I CONTINUED TO BE HIS BEST FRIEND! him and his girl got back together, Ididnt let him know how I felt though...but I continued to be there for him thru their arguments and everything and guess what? We are now married with a beautiful daughter and have been for 3 years. Im not pushing marriage or kids but im just saying if its meant to b e its meant to be..just continue to be u...that friends dont date friends thing is a crock because the person you are in a relationship with is supposed to be your best friend. HOWEVER!!! if he is dating this person PLEASE OH PLEASE dont try to mess around with him...it will come back and bite u in the ***...

well you dont tell him that your available because that makes you sound pretty desprate. Let him know how you feel about him that find someone else to go out with he will come around after you breakup with the other person.

dates are not relationships - dates are suppose to be for getting to know each other. I had a date with a guy friend we went fishing and ate lunch I found out his wife was going to have a baby. they want me to be the godfather. I told him I didnt know how to do marlan brando. was a great date.
we went out did something fun enjoyed conversation that is a date. friends suppose to date friends how else will you get to know them better if you don't.
