There's not an overly good answer to this question. Sometimes people (both guys and girls) do things they shouldn't. Cheating is one of them. I think that cheating comes back to morals, and also whether or not you really care about that person.
Some people, when they are in a relationship, don't care as much as the person they are with. When you find the right person, or when they find the right person, they will probably be more serious and less likely to cheat.
However, some people are just not faithful, and the saying "once a cheater, always a cheater" is often true more times than not...
If you are really concerned about your friend, and think that they are with someone who really isn't being true to them, you should talk with them about it. Being a good friend means that sometimes you have to say things to them that they don't want to hear - but if they care for you they will understand (eventually) that you are just looking out for them.

Well I've been in a lot of realtionships were guys have cheated on me and broke my heart but I went off and found a real good guy and ended up cheating on him because of my past realtionships and me and him are still toegther 2years later and things are great. But guys cheat on girls for a number of reasons to get back at them because they think there cheating on them. Because they don't think there ready to be tried down to one person right now and just because guys look at cheating different then we do. So he might not of thought that kissing that other girl was cheating on his girlfriend. There a million reasons why they cheat but tell your friend and let her know whats going on...

well, i'm not a guy, but i have cheated before, i don't know what this guys reasons were, but i did it accidently, this guy kissed me, and i got caught up in the moment and kissed him back because i had had feelings for him for a long time, but before things went farther than kissing i stopped im and told him i had a bf.

well because the guy likes the other girls but loves his chick at the same time and cant say no to the other girls. maybe he will open his eyes if she brecks up with him.i have been in the same situation.

this is so not true, for girlfriends cheat on their girlfriends, too.
It is maturity, integrity, upbringing and meaning of relationship that will detrmine whether a person is going to cheat or not and how they value their individual responsibilities and priorities.
