Your 18 and considered an adult - reguardless of the age gap you seem to be interested so do what you feel is right. I would start out talking then dating knowing that dating is just getting to know each other while doing things both enjoy. not to be old fashion or anything but for safety reasons do not submit to a sexual relation until you know what both of you really want. sex right now shouldnt be or become an issue until you realize what it is your both after. Do not let age gaps deter you - no one says you have to make him your boyfriend before you become friends and have dated and got to know each other. Bottom line is your an adult and can date whom ever you want. my advice is to take it slow and really take time to talk about everything you want to share in life. the deepness of the relationship and conversations will flow naturally. best of luck and be careful

I would say to wait just a while longer. Your feeling might change. Then get to know him as a friend before you start dating.

I was 20 when I dated a 30 year old from my church for a few months. He turned out to be a creep though! Just because he goes to church doesn't mean he is a Godly man!

I felt the same way about guys my age-- so ridiculous!

He's not too old for you!! I'll tell you one thing, I'm fourteen and in one month I'm gonna see the guy I like and do it with him, who's twenty-two!! So you dont have to worry about you,he may be older but there is not a LOT of defference in what you two want...

1st of all dont think urself 2 b som great person...u may b childish the other way but still wen u say that u r mature so then treat him as a mature would do...show up ur maturity and the smartness in the way u think and do things...
just get closer to him slowly and then find that wat does he thinks bout the fact that som1 likes a person older or younger than him...then u may find the key to ur answer..
if he reacts in a positive way then YA or else its gonna b tough
so 1st notice his point of view on this issue !!

I'd go for it, a girl your age likes me and i'm in my late 20's...it depends on the maturity level. She is more mature then any girl i've met near my age and we've become really close and connected on levels most people dream of.

He is not really much older than you, You could even date a man
of 62, let alone 26. I you really like him , go ahead & have fun!

You should approach him with as much confidence as possible.
Tell him you find him attractive and wanted to know if hes seeing anyone. Give him your number.

He may find you a bit too immature for his age, but at least you tried.

I wouldn't say anything... just be friends. I wouldn't pursue anything because your age gap is still pretty big. You're still pretty young... you'll find someone... just be patient.

Talk to him. Start with the basic small talk "great service, nice weather, "hi", etc. If he's interested, he'll take it from there.
