ABSOLUTLY NOT! I don't care what the conditions are. My husband and I have a routine. I collect our three dogs, he gathers our two cats and we meet in our furnace room. (we have no basement.) Everyone tells us we could go to the court house, and I tell them, "well I don't think everyone would want our cats and dogs there too, and I wont leave them." They are my 'kids' and I would never do that.

Pets are like little ones. The question is would you depart your little ones behind if someone instructed you to in an emergency. Pets are component of my family individuals i'd in no way depart them behind. i'd stay with them no remember what.

If it were a hospital thing I would leave him with food, water, a baby monitor and somewhere where he can't get hurt. If he's a puppy I would take him with me in a tote bag.
If it's an earthquake (almost impossible in my area) I would lock myself in the lowest floor of my house where there are no windows or glass.
Tornados are impossible where I live.
