Please keep in mind, there is only ONE version of the torah on this planet. do not refer to the christian old-testiment which is different and changed.
Also you need to point out a time when it was changed and by whom.. Thanks

NO, its not the burden of proof to state its not been changed, the burden of proof is to PROVE when and where it has been changed... Simply stating the "koran says so" is NOT proof, since the koran came LONG after the torah...

Stll - the torah very specifically states that there will be no changing of g-ds laws and no books after it.. thus the koran which was made up lies about torah

The Torah has never been changed. Historical documents prove it almost to a certainty.

If today's available Torah contains alot of misleading verses, or telling that Moses commited guilts, then this Torah is absolutely has been changed since the original Torah never give misleading verses, or giving messengers a characteristics of bad or evil.
Since the available Torah saying that Moses commited wench! and a killer! .... etc.. then this Torah is not the original one. But the people that came after him changed it to justify their evil sins without being accused.
Cheers.

well, the torah, traditionally, was the word of god and could never be changed. we don't know when exactly this tradition started. beforehand, the first part (like genesis) was an oral tradition, so maybe the first part got switched around a little before anything was written down.
however, since it was written, the oldest known torahs are exactly the same as they are today.
i don't know why the koran says otherwise.

This is a topic that needs a lot of time and discussion.
perhaps the best way to answer this, is to question the authenticity of each book. 1) "Have you particularly" seen, read, translated the "original Hebro Torah???" Even the Quran has mis-translations and contradictions due to the TRANSLATION.
2)As muslims you need to understand that we do believe in Jesus as well, why would there be need for Jesus to come and bring Gospel, and only 600 yrs after Muhammad to come and bring Quran, If Torah was still the Torah that God sent? God is one, he should have one book! shouldn't he?
(considering there has been 5 holy books)
3) Next is that out of all the Holy books, quran is the only book that in it "God swears on the protection of the words of that book" (Again protection of the Arabic text and content, not order of it or translation)... Have you found a verse in Torah Where God swears to protect the book of torah?
I'm not sure if you consider Psalm part of Torah, but David prays for protection of the words of God... which shows clearly that the responsibility of protection of those holy books was upon children of Israel... (and I know you do not like the christian stuff, but the punishment of those who change the words of the book is set in the bible as well)
Considering all of the above, I personally believe in Quran as an authentic book and so when it says this I believe it... : [4.46] Of those who are Jews (there are those who) alter words from their places and say: We have heard and we disobey
Of course as Muslims we are to believe in all holy books and to read and learn from them. but We use the Quran as a scale of judgement to what to trust out of the old books...
After all this, there is another simple fact... There are some serious un-Godly saying in the Torah... (As well as other holy books) that can only come from Man! A very simple example is the story of Adam and Eve, creation of Eve from Man's rib, responsibility of humans failing through Eve, and etc....
Many muslims try to give you historical facts and dates and explanations and name people... that's man's words again. we do not know anything for sure out of what God has told us.
we can talk more if you like to.

Jewish added 600 Laws that has nothing to do with Torah.
the Torah and Bible could have some truth remain inside . but some words has been changed from its place to suite the believe and desire of those rabies and monks.
so God sent the Quran and promised that this book will not be corrupted again. and on one will be able to come up with a book like this one.
so it's up to you to believe or no. thanks

Unfortunately it would be the burden of proof on the defenders of the Torah. Not that I do not defend the Torah. :)

I have been told that the 5 books of the old testament is the Torah.
See the description of God in it, then compare the event how Moses saw the back of God.
The answer is right in it.
