I totaly believe in God He is my one true savior and lord and my friend.I love him and always will. Last year I had really bad back pain and had to be in the hospital for a month and a half. A pastor came and prayed for me in the name of God and I am now walking, and rock climbing, and being a normal teen.I Hope to hear from lots of you. God bless.

Yes. I love the "cause and effect" argument for God. That necessitates that He exists. Everything is caused. There has never been anything that has ever existed or been observed that has not also been caused. Therefore, there is no reason to assume that anything we see has ever been uncaused. Logically, there must have been at some point a First Cause, who or which was also uncaused or uncreated. Hence, you have two options: 1) God/Higher Power 2) Impersonal force. We have seen impersonal forces they don't seem to have intelligences to cause purposefully anything.
An impersonal force that existed from all eternity is no more likely than a personal God who was uncaused.

I believe that God does not exist. At least not the god that believers claim to believe in.
If the god that Christians believed in actually existed and worked in the way that they describe, we would live in a very different universe. The laws of physics would arbitrarily change in order to help good people and punish bad people. Consciousness could exist outside of a functioning brain. It means things like pain and suffering would be the same over time because god caused to be so and things like improvement, change and evolution would not be observed or even possible.
Science would be out the window since science has functioned on finding objectively true things that are always true in every case. If the god that people believe in really existed, science could never test anything with accuracy.
If people ability, riches, intelligence, talents and fortunes was god given, it would mean their there would be no need to learn or to try to improve ones self. Progress and invention would be pointless.
The miracles that occurred in the bible would still be happening today. People would walk on water, angles would come from the sky, the sick could be healed by touching them and whole cities could turn to salt and it could all be seen by everybody all the time.
The world we live in does none of this and thus we can deduce there is no god and knowing what I know about human nature and history and the advent of science, logic and reason, the explanation that people are generally dupable and prone to ignorance and self-serving conjecture if they aren’t given proper training in the areas of science and reason, actually explains their idea of god quite nicely from an era that didn’t concern itself with education.
New age believers have taken to say that God is simply the unknowable part of the universe...whatever caused us to be how we are is God. So say, the natural processes and the physics is what god is.
The problem with this is at that point we are simply arguing about definitions of words. If someone wants to call physic, science, nature and the like "god" then fine, knock yourself out, but understand that people who really know what they are talking about have all agreed to call those things by a specific names that describes it in more detail and its by this language that those processes are really understood. And those people who are engaged in really knowing how that stuff works instead of just giving up and calling it “god” are the people that make advancement and improvements to life possible.
I am beyond just saying I don’t know if there is a god. I say…I believe there is no god.

Are pixies real? Or leprechauns? What about fairies or unicorns?
All of these things, including ghod(tm) are products of imagination. Nothing more.
Don't take them any more seriously than is necessarry.
