My neighbor has been breeding pits for 5 years now. Her pit, Sativa just had her first litter with 8 and Mandi, another one of hers had only 6 the first litter.

Depends on the dog. We had one that had 8. One of my friends took a puppy from my litter and when that one had puppies, she had 10.
I have seen others only have 6.

There is really no way to know for sure.

usually about 4 or 5. they dont have many during their first litter but the second & third they usually have more.

inbetween 5 ans 7 the pit pull can have alot of pups but most mauy not survie you well be left with ...like 4 or if you take care of them anlong with the mom you coan keep every one and only one will die
