Becuase grape juice is made from concord grapes, which are rarely available at the supermarket. You can find them in farmer's markets sometimes or at the county fair if your from a region that grows them. Supermarket grapes when juiced taste like "white" grape juice.

Apparently you've never tasted a real concord grape. They are deep purple, and taste like the juice. They don't make juice out of the green ones you see at the grocery store.

because of mass damand they make mass production of artificial chemical compounds they call " 100% juice " just to get the big bucks,it doesn't matter you don't like the taste or that in few years someone will get serious side effects from consuming all that.
