The Catholic church holds that Jesus was both fully divine and fully human. So yes he could have reproduced with a woman. Whether that offspring would have any part of the divinity of Jesus is up for grabs. I think that is why the Da Vinci code has become such a hot topic.

Yes Jesus was human, but a human with a purpose. He came down to suffer pain and the pain he suffered represent the challenges or risks people face in terms of sadness in life today. Moreover, his resurrection proved divine intervention, which made him the Lord of all Christians worldwide. But, your assumption is completely wrong because your question has got influenced by the latest findings from the scripts of Judas and also Da Vinci Code movie. They're all hoax and that his marriage did not take place. All he loved were his people and spread the message of peace, brotherhood, truth and simplicity on earth, which made him God and not that he was human. Overall, it was God in human form.

He certainly had the 'equipment.'

But He also said that some give up marriage and remain celibate for the sake of God's Kingdom. If anybody had devoted His entire life to God's Kingdom, it would be Jesus. He remained celibate because marriage is to provide companionship and received God's grace through a spouse.

Christ had no need of one spouse because He was God and was the source of grace. He was never alone because He was in perfect communion with God.

Furthermore, Christ described himself as the groom and the whole Church as His bride. The whole Bible reads like a wedding story. Heaven is referred to as the wedding banquet. The faithful receive Christ spiritually like a bride receives her groom.

He could have reproduced, but He didn't.

jesus was human and jewish; and a respectable jew at that. this means that he must have been married.
the gnostics(some) who saw the material creation as evil thought jesus body wasn't really material because god wouldn't and couldn't stoop to incarnating into a human animal body. they thought that our spirits were trapped in them due to a cosmic double cross. and that the goal was to get outta here!!!!!
