Not as much.In college, people are more mature and they don't do or deal with petty stuff anymore - not like in high school where there are groups: the popular, the nerds, the jocks, etc. and everybody tries to make other people think they're better than anyone else.

not unless you're looking for a shallow group of people to try and impress, ideally college is a time to find friends who don't care who you've impressed and like you for you. in fact, you should make a point of avoiding people who still think that way because the people who werent popular in high school finally shine in college and they are often the most interesting people, people in clicks have a hard time breaking away from their image long enough to figure themselves out, let alone be a good friend to you

Nope. Not at all. It helps to have friends so that you get to parties, but otherwise it doesn't matter one lick. The people who were popular in high school become regular nobody's like everyone else in college.

that isn't any longer, except you're making it that way. as long as you're a impressive human being that's absolutely everyone could keep in suggestions you thru in intense college or some thing you do consisting of your existence. era. that is what I attempt for. I under no circumstances cared about being commonly used, only that the commonly used people would provide up wondering so freaking incredibly of themselves and being such jerks to people.

I don't think so. There are so many more groups in college to be a part of that you are cool to someone. College was better because you could be who you really were inside and people would like you and know you as that person.

Nope. Popularity isn't even such a big deal in highschool, unless you want hs to be the BEST FAKE time of your life. Take my advice, live real-live well, and your whole life you will be popular with the people who really matter!!

Popularity is re-gained in College. When we are in high school usually we are with our peers for many years and they know the truth about us. In College our peers know what we tell them allowing us to fudge on our accomplishments and backgrounds.

Depending on where you go to college, possibly more. It depends if you are living on campus. It seems to be more focused if you live on campus and belong to the popular sorority/fraternity and get invited to all the "cool" parties and also where you are travelling for the summer or on break.

you're way too busy studying and making the grades to be concerned about popularity. but you'll be surprised at how much more relaxed everyone is and how you'll find more people of like interests. enjoy the time. it doesn't last long.
