best shampoo for dry hair?

I use Paul Mitchell Tea Tree. It's expensive, but it works well. Be careful the first time you use it though, it might feel like your head's on fire. In a good way, of course.

that would be Sabestian hair care products, sold at smart style salon inside walmarts...all their products are the best and kindest to hair...you will love the heavenly scent...it's not too pricey and last along time....to wash dry hair try mixing half distilled water and half shampoo in a little bottle, shake well and wash , rinse in distilled water, if you think it isn't lathering as well give it a second wash, but don't dump the shampoo on the top of the head, use only a little bit and rub hands together then scrub in....and for the conditioner,,use Potion#9, Sabestian, but towel dry the hair after the shampoo and then place a small bit of conditioner on the hair, leave in five minutes and rinse and rinse...their mousse is the very best also...good luck....

I have found that all shampoos are hard of dry hair. What I try to do is use a shampoo every other time and just give my hair a good rinse followed by my regular conditioning treatment. My hair fairs better and I do not have build up from dirt or conditioner.

I used to have really dry and damaged hair. Once I started using the dove shampoo and conditioner for dry and damaged hair, I saw a great difference. My hair is shiny and smooth and the ends are not rough anymore! I love dove and I recommend it. It's great. and there are no oils that are in some shampoos that will make your hair really greasy.

Pantene Relaxed and Natural...it's in a bronze bottle and not every place carries it cuz it's designed for "women of color" I have very thick, curly hair that dries out if I don't take care of it. This stuff is the best! You'll think it's conditioner when it comes out of the bottle and the conditioner is like heaven. I've spent a ridiculous amount of money on lots of salon shampoos, but this stuff is the best.

I love Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine shampoo and conditioner. They add a lot of moisture to my hair. I also use the Sleek & Shine Fortifying Deep Conditioner once a week. You could try a deep condtioner or protein treatment on your hair once a week. You can find these in a beauty supply store -- ask the sales assistant.

I also recommend coconut oil. Work it through your hair, and leave it on overnight. Shampoo it out in the morning or leave it on longer. Coconut oil adds moisture and shine, and helps repair damaged hair. You can find it in a natural food store or online.

Dove shampoos are nice. Make sure you get the one for dry or damaged hair though. They don't dry out your hair and they smell nice too. I don't like Dove conditioners that much though I think there are others on the market that are superior such as Herbal Essences and Pantene Pro V.

u can use a herbal shampoo..they will keep ur hair smooth and lustrous,,,,,i too have curly hair,i soak soapnuts(reetha) overnight,boil them the next morning,seieve it up and then use it when the solution cools down.it works as a shampoo+conditioner.it easily removes greasiness.mind well,u need to oil ur hair overnight before and after using it.Also hair is the most precious gift of nature to each and every girl,so don't be harsh to them,avoid chemicals and avoid stress becoz it affects ur hair volume and ur over personality.use clean combs and safe hair accessories.

I recently bought some Joico K-pak Reconstructive shampoo and conditioner. You have to buy it in the salon. It is kind of expensive but it works great. You can tell a difference after only using it once.
