It has come to my attention that there seems to be two different races on earth.
The first race of people claim that they came from a loving and kind God and that he made them to have a good time here and live in a relationship with him.
The second race seems to claim that they evolved from monkeys and they even fight to insist on that, so it must be true. They act monkey like and do strange things, so they must be part monkey. They claim to be intelligent and one of them will give an award to another and comment the other on his intelligence. The other accepts the praise of a fellow monkey and states "how intelligent I am" This second race seems to serve some menial purpose on earth and serves as a diversion for the Human (made by God) people and the God people try to be kind to the poor decieved monkeys as much as they can. They try to help them through life and show them how they can get to heaven, but they insist that they want to go to hell, so what can the God people do?

Yes, welcome to reality. There are two races of man in this world ever since the addition of a second man, the last Adam, who is the Messiah. Previously you had only one choice of race in which to belong and that was Adams race. Of course, the choice was easy and made for you, as you were born into it and automatically enjoyed its many benefits and privileges, among which were sin and death. Now, however, thanks to the death burial and resurrection of the Christ you are offered a rare opportunity to join a separate race. It too has benefits and privileges, among which are holiness and eternal life. Your choice. Choose wisely.

"The second race seems to claim that they evolved from monkeys and they even fight to insist on that, so it must be true. They act monkey like and do strange things, so they must be part monkey"

Yet the religous group has run around and KILLED in the name of god. Okay. Who is mixed up. I don't kill or fight because someone does not like my ideas.

"This second race seems to serve some menial purpose on earth and serves as a diversion for the Human (made by God) people and the God people try to be kind to the poor decieved monkeys as much as they can. Be nice all I hear is atheists are stupid, brainless and are going to burn in hell. Yeah you are really nice.

I used to really like you and respect you, we got past the whole straight jacket thing which was me being silly, and you helped me once with the question I had with job.

With the question you have here I thought this might lead somewhere, cause I have been asking are there two America's the Christian nation and the non Christian nation and I thought you were going somewhere with that idea indepedent.

Then I read the details. I read about the thing you said about hell.

Then I scrolled and read the other answers. Just to not duplicate them.

Basically my only conclusion is I don't want to be your friend anymore. I deleted you out of my 360 last week. I intend now to go and delete all emails. I basically don't think I will read any more of your things wether it be question or answer.

I pretty much will look upon you like I view mainworry. An old man who is dedicated to his religion, more important than getting along or reading any thing that other people have to say.

This notion that I ignore your advice on hell, its again this notion that because I fear the wrath of God that I must conform to your believes, its been played out throughout the centuries, and its not that I reject Jesus or God at this point in my life, its that I reject your conservative fundamentalist view of heaven/hell/and how to treat people.

To conclude, it was very nice knowing you. You did seem to be a decent guy until recently, I don't know what changed your heart but I am sorry that this has happened and made you dark and needing to play to the worst fears of man, rather than appealing to their intelligence and good side.

I know I have offended you and your faith, for that I am truely sorry, I wish I could take it all back, but as you know, the internet doesn't give that option.

I hope that if you and me are in the same heaven that God grants me strength to overlook the differences between us.

Good luck to you in trying to win converts to Jesus by telling the evolutionist that he is a different species and has chosen hell unless he or she conforms to your believe.

May God have mercy on your soul,
in Jesus name I pray.

That's not a very Christian-like question. The Bible emphasizes the fact that we are all lowly and undeserving. None is better than another. Even if we can be classified under similar categories as the two you have given, it would not make us better humans. I resent the superior - even condescending - tone of your question. We need to be careful of the image we present to the world, or else people will not want to be "God people." We're to reflect the light and love of Jesus, and your question/assertions do not do that.

Please consider the impact of what you say and write in the future. It could make the difference between somebody coming to Jesus, or somebody being yet again convinced that Christians are self-righteous and ignorant people to be avoided.

yes the second race wants to go to hell. Its not that they just dont believe some stupid book. The book that says these people are going to hell also says:

However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way. (Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT)

and

"If a man lies with a male as with a women, both of them shall be put to death for their abominable deed; they have forfeited their lives." (Leviticus 20:13 NAB)

and

They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul; and everyone who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. (2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB)

would you like me to continue?

You think you're clever, but you're just ridiculous. For one thing, there is no need to ridicule atheists--after all, they find you as entertaining as you say you find them.

Another point: if you were to say "race of people" as a group that believes in a religion, there would be more races counted that way than we count by skin color now. For instance, I am one of the Goddess's and the God's children, and there are plenty of others, so are we a "race," too? What about those who practice ancestor worship? Hindus? Buddhists? Muslims? (They aren't all one nationality or even of one race.) Agnostics? Don't be so silly. It makes you look as dumb as you claim they are.

This is just yet another inane and facile opinion given by a hard-line, dogmatic Christian; it doesn't matter to this Bible-Thumper what one says or how well one says it;
...if it goes against Scripture --- then THEY ARE WRONG!

Fundamentalist Christians fail to understand that The Bible is little more than a collection of imaginary causes and effects, and it distresses them intensely when you point it out to them.

That's why I seldom even try to make a point with them anymore: It's like beating a Savior to death, and then only to find him resurrected and summarily beaten to death again, and again, and again, and again;...it just gets old after a while.

"The Christian conception of God…- is one of the most corrupt conceptions of God arrived at on earth.:... In God nothingness defied, the will to nothingness sanctified!..."
- Nietzsche

There are many strange folk who post questions here in yahoo answers. You and michael s are surely two of the most confused I have run into.

I would try to answer your question, but there is not one part of it that is of any positive arguable value to Christians or evolutionists.

Shame on you for claiming to be a Christian and witnessing against Him!

God created man and then many years later, it doesn't mention how long, he made a covenant with a man, one that was already here, but now we are talking about a man that could have eternal life. The covenant God made with Adam made the tree of life available to him. Eternal life didn't come without instructions, just as it doesn't today.

The "God's" people aren't special. Why can't you except the fact that by pure chance you exist. If there is a God, why would he be so interested in mortals like us. Why would he create us... to see if we'd behave and follow his principals so our souls can get into heaven. Why not just start in heaven?
