Sure -- anyone who sees an extreme position as a valid position and excludes anyone who does not blindly accept that extreme position is liable to become violent. I hate that...

Yes, and there are more of them than us...they don't care about tummy tucks, Lexuses, new houses. or Johnny's soccer team..we can try to bomb them into oblivion but they don't care. They can't get laid and got 40 virgins comin' post-exploso. They don't feel they are committing suicide but are finally getting a reprieve and reward for such a crappy life. They hate us and they will win. If you are not scared, then you are not smart. If you don't prepare for survival then you are a complete fool.
The end may not be near but the future looks bleak....all it would take is one of the many suitcase nuclear bombs that are missing....its only a matter if time...it's not if? but when?

Yes. The problem is in what you just stated, fundamentalism and fanaticism. These mindsets are one and the same. You see the radical Islamic jihadists claiming to fight against the West in the name of 'Allah', and at the same time the fundamentalist 'Christians' claim to be fighting against the Muslims with God on THEIR side. It makes no sense and I would have to say that you should be very wise in making decisions when it comes to your religious preferences.

I'm not sure why they are crazy, but I really wish they'd come out with some really strong meds for them. Sometimes they scare me. But it's usually fear for other people. I hate to see people who may be weaker or may not understand what is going on be attacked by those who use religion to get the upper hand.

Extremists scare me. Anyone trying to convert me to their way of thinking without any regard for what I believe annoys me.

They terrify me. There is virtually no limit to the atrocities that people can commit when motivated by religion.

some are scary, others are just plain embarassing as they don't really know as much as they claim to know and sometimes, a little knowledge can be very dangerous.
