When I was younger (teenage years) I had used cocaine quite frequently. I can tell you that I was irritable, lost a lot of weight and looked horrible due to lack of sleep. I'm sure my pupils were dialated and that I was much more hostile around those I was hiding it from then normal. I was completely withdrawn from my family. Not everyone forms an addiction or becomes violent so while you should help this person and pay attention don't go too crazy or you may make things worse. Of course this is just my opinion as a former user and I am not a doctor in any form. I hope the websites help.

I don't agree that you would know people can had their drug use very well, believe me. Also bloody nose doesn't happen that often as well. Some sure signs are
1. Do they have trouble going to sleep at night;do they stay out real late party-ing?
2. Do their lows seem real low and their highs seem really high?
3. Are they constantly sniffing?
4. Are they loosing weight/not eating like they use to?
5. Easily upset and have temper outburst that are out of charactor?
If you think there is a problem this drug will tear your world apart dont ignore it

drastic changes in personality and mood. Cocaine users often engage in dangerous and thoughtless behaviors, doing activities that they would probably not do otherwise. Sniffling, bloody noses, runny noses and dilated pupils are all signs that a person is using cocaine.

Give them a drug test....they sell them cheep down at the local drug stores, like walgreens and CVS pharmacys and you say..."I want to know the truth, if you don't then Im leaving, etc, whatever threat works" and then you stick to it...

runny nose all the time. always sniffing or scratching their nose. easily aggitated. very energetic. goes to the bathroom A LOT! etc.

bloody nose, very paranoid, very fast moving, not talking allot, and many more believe me if someone was doing it u would know for a million percent....
