Pay attention to how your body responds to the different foods - some can make you immediately hungry. How are you running your diet? Drink lots of water to make sure that you are not actually thirsty instead of hungry. If hungry reach for something with a low glycemic index. If your mouth is bored try sugarfree gum. If your stomach is hungry try a high fiber snack.

Always have a healty snack at hand and prepacked for a snack attack. I use the snack size ziplocs. I like pretzels, grapes, a few crackers with low fat cheese, a few mini rice cakes (the apple cinnamon ones are great!!), almonds are great too and good for you. Carrots oh the list is endless just be prepared!!

The best thing to eat when on a diet is Tofu for protein and big salads for minerals and fiber. I frequently eat the tofu raw with a little soy sauce and a sprinkle of bonita shavings. Try it.

get yourself a fruit smoothie
you sound like you need it
you should never starve yourself--because that will actually cause your body to hold on more fat.
you hafta eat offensively--as in eat nutritious low sugar low saturated fat products--like 6 small meals over a day instead of 3 larger ones. you'll boost metabolism that way and your weight will lose itself. also, adopt an exercise regimen to help and continue eating until you are satisfied. bottom line is--dont get to the point where you are starving!

A protein bar, protein shake or some other form of protein.
Then after you're done working out, more protein.
It'll not only give you energy, make you feel full but will help your body do repair work on itself.
