For anyone who is wondering about what this question refers to, I think she is referring to Neo-Paganism.

I do not follow a particular tradition. I just try to follow my own heart, and do what I think is right. For me, religion does not need to have a name.

That said, I can't see myself straying from European Pagan traditions, because for one thing, my bloodline does not extend out of Europe. I wouldn't feel right practicing Asian or Native American religions.

Besides that, the only mythologies that I know much about are of Celtic and Greco-Roman origins.

So I would definitely say that I have leanings toward particular traditions.

Another reason for not picking a particular tradition is that I do not want to isolate myself from the thoughts and ideas of other Neo-Pagans from other traditions. I try to keep an open-mind about the beliefs of everybody, and even if we use different names, I think we believe similar things.

Eclectic. Then again, I'm not a traditional kind of Pagan. My favorite culture to study is the Celtic "society".

I am definitely pagan and glad to say so. Strictly speaking, anything other than Christianity, Judaism or Muslim is considered pagan. Personally, I do not believe in a single patriarchal god or that Jesus Christ was the son of God; I believe a Goddess gave birth to the world and that there are other Gods and Goddesses as well -- many of which are simply different aspects of the same Mother Goddess, hence my pagan roots. But I also believe in evolution -- I know, I'm weird. : )

I play the eclectic guitar in an unconventional yet traditional manner.....why you ask? because eclectic is one of my favorite words....whatever comes after that is completely unpredictable just like your humble Wiccan narrator...have you seen my ax?

I consider myself eclectic, seeing as I take elements from Shintoism, Celtic Druidism, Native American Shamanism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Wicca.

I do things this way because it's easier for me. ^_^

Define "Pagans."

Some members of the Presbyterian Church of America believe members of the Presbyterian Church (USA) to be 'pagans.'

Some protestants believe Catholics to be 'pagans.'

Some Catholics believe protestants to be 'pagans.'

Many Christians believe all other religions to be 'pagan.'

Define your terms, and your question will answer itself.
