They scare me because of the power they wield over this present administration and the freedoms that are jeaopardized because of their narrow views. They claim to be Christian but are almost the opposite of Jesus. Love and fundamentalism are not synonymous. Jesus was a liberal and an enemy of the state.

Yes, I agree with Becki too. I find all versions of fundamentalism frightening. They feel the need to push their beliefs onto everyone whether they are willing or not. This to me is the opposite of freedom and democracy as they were intended in this country.

Yes, anybody that is an extremist scares me too, and it is not only christians there are alot more religions(or cults claiming to be religions) that are even scarier, have you ever seen a scientologist?.
