If your an atheist why do you think there is no God?

It's illogical to thin this because as you can see how complex earth and all creation is sometihng had to create why are you denying it?

Because I haven't believed in imaginary friends since I was a small tyke. I'm not technically an atheist but I hate organized religion.

Prove god exists. Don't show me a book or a church or a blooming tree - show me proof. Most complex creations on the earth can be explained and proven by science. It will just take more time and research to scientifically prove everything. Think of how scary and uninformed people were 100 years ago. They needed something to explain the unexplainable - but today we have real answers. Don't follow in your ancestors footsteps and be pulled around by your nose.

It is no use trying to explain my beliefs to you, just like it is no use for you to try and explain your beliefs to me. I think it is illogical to think there is a God. The complexity of the Earth can be explained by science. Why do I have the think the same way you do? Can we not just have two different opinions?

let me ask you this how can you blindly believe in a invisible being that never shows itself and the only "proof" you have of its exsistance is what you think you know, and scorn others for believing that the world just happened? Most religious people are ignorant. religion is for insecure people who can't fathom the thought of being alone in the universe. the church however has a good reason to make you think there is a god. the church is the perfect money making machine. they have you christians eager to empty your wallets, 80 year old people living on a fixed income empty there wallets for these "holy" people. if your not in the upper rankings of the church your merrily cattle, the pay dirt for the "mighty". it makes me sick, a lot of innocent people wasting their lives away in fear of this almighty nothing... i think religion was created for a greedy mans benefit and the world has just come to be.

It is one of the goals of science to figure out how the things we see in our world came to be. Studying them and coming up with ideas to test and verify is part of the scientific method. It is laziness to simply say "God created it that way." No one can prove or disprove that God exists, but with science and reason, we can figure out just about anything else given enough time.

The earth is only complex to those that dont understand it. Most of it can be easily explained by science.

If it's logical to think complex things need a creator, does that mean god has a creator? Or is he more simple than a bacteria?

Would it be logical to say that logical rules apply to anything but god? Is that even a logical thing to do?

It seems you can't see the difference between faith and logic.
