i think that true spirituality is in the way you live your life. its is understanding that even thought you don't subscribe to a certain religion you are secure with how you feel your relationship with your maker is. all religions around the world tell us that the others are wrong or flawed. i can't allow myself to pass that judgment on my fellow man. i try to see threw the eyes of all men and feel from my heart for you all. i am not perfect by any means but i believe this is true spirituality.i don't need to give money to god.he is all powerful.but i have found others in need that i have helped like older people and kids down on their luck or on a fixed income who needed my money much more that god.religion tells us that is wrong but i feel in my heart that any just god would have me buy an old lady food rather than give it to a preacher.i can't believe that god would say no do for me not a freezing child who needs a bed. i have encountered these things in my life and made the choices i have made. if I've done wrong at least my spirit will leave me fulfilled because i did what it said was right.

For some people there is no difference. One goes with the other. For others, spirituality means that they believe in God, but don't necessary follow the traditions or beliefs of a particular religion. That is what I think anyway.

For me, the difference is that religion is a set of beliefs, traditions and rituals handed down by leaders to laymen. Spirituality is simply believing there is something more out there without all the hassle of quoting a book to try to prove it to another or to keep traditions and/or rituals for any reason.

Religion serves as pointer to what is good or bad in one's life, like parents and teachers do. It serves as roadmap pointing the direction of spiritual life. Spirituality is the destination and that is entirely one's own choice.

Religion is MAN'S view of God. Spirituality is a state of being spiritual whether it be in study, worship, prayer/communion, and etc.

Religion is this notion of $$$$---a cash cow for lazy ministers who do not work...(JESUS was a carpenter.....and consider this...No jigsaws, skill saws..electricity...etc...so..he had to really work hard...can you imagine????)--yet..a lot of "clergyman" these days..unfortunately...are in it for the $$$$$$$$$ (BILLY GRAHAM is the exception)....plus..a lot of people go to church just to be seen there....

Spirituality...is MUCH different...it is your one-on-one walk with the LORD....this is what gets us to HEAVEN not religion---in the BIBLE...it quotes..."HE THAT IS PURE IN HEART SHALL ENTER"---
