If an illegal Immigrant is working as a documented citizen that means that they have stolen someone else's livelihood, and most of them don't pay the taxes, they just let them build up until the IRS goes after the person who's identity was stolen.
Believe me, I know it for a fact. My husband and I are still fighting not to pay the back taxes owed by two of the illegals working under his name, out of the four that we know about.
They don't pay the taxes, and they expect Americans to do it for them.

I know what you mean, we are having trouble with taxes this year because someone used my husbands SSN to file right before he did. We really suspect that it is someone illegal in the first place and the IRS seems to think we are the fake ones! They already gave the other guy his money and wont even talk to us! You would think the fact that we already have filed as married filing jointly and then suddenly his comes up as single with out us every being divorced could be a good sign that the other one was fake, but NO..

Most of the illegals around here (we've got a lot do to a big packing house nearby) do pay most taxes. Whether they're using a fake ID or not, state, federal & SS taxes are deducted from their paychecks by the employer. It's the work they do on the side for cash (tile laying, carpentry work etc) that they don't pay taxes on.
We've also had an abundance of Mexican owned businesses popping up around here, I"ll guarantee that the're not paying all the taxes they should.

Not only that, but I would like to add 1 point: The fact that you pay taxes at all or even the most doesn't take away from the fact that you broke the law! I'd like to see any American that was exonerated from prosecution for that fact outside an IRS tax trial.
If you volutarily or was forced to pay taxes, you would have paid them if you didnt' break the law or not!!!
So your absolutely right! They are taking jobs away from Americans!!

Some do some don't. However no poor immigrants pay taxes that actually cover their social services such as education. These are subsidized by the rest of us. That is why there are limits on poor immigration, is why the line is so long to get in, and is why the huge influx of illegal immigrants is such a burden on us and our failing social services.

In my opinion: Many politicians have politicized this issue, some have claimed (as in CA) that you don't even need papers to vote (!!!!). Needless to say, she didn't get elected. But the untruth is perpetuated by political liberal double-speak, and the media does not alway print the truth, it is too boring. They need "pizzazz"! So, it is the case of many Americans getting misinformation from other misinformed individuals too wrapped up in their own lives, not thinking this epidemic affects them personally. Wake up people, what are our taxes being used for? Welfare, medical assistance, schooling for illegals. Illegals do not pay taxes because they are here illegally. Good luck in your endeavors. Speak up, contact your local reps, make your voice heard.

Well unless there is some special checkout lines at supermarkets, retail stores, etc... that are for "Illegals only" which allows you to buy things without paying sales taxes or some special gas station that sells gas to illegals without padding on taxes that some of us don't know about, then I guess it'd be 100% true in saying that.

HA! I KNOW they aren't paying taxes. But they THINK they are maybe because when they go to the store and buy something they pay a piddley little store tax. They don't know what they are talking about when they say they pay taxes here!

you need to pay what IRS due to the IRS so the ones that stole your husbands identity can get welfare, I hope you get this matter straight end up and THEY are deported from the Wonderful Land of the free and mostly honest country of OURS.
