Washing and rewashing just isn't cutting it!

To clarify for the 400 people who suggested it, I don't smoke, so stopping isn't really the issue. My concern is to get the smell out NOW.

I feel ya with the cig odor. I've never really had a problem with it being in my hair, but when i exhale, i turn my head to the side whichever the way the wind is blowin so it will be away from my hair. But if that doesnt help, there's this stuff thats called hair refresher spray and it works really good. It gets any kind of smell out of your hair. Well hope i helped a lil.

Do your best to blow it away from you, and keep the smoke away from you too. You could bring a hoody, keep it off of you in a closet, smoke your *** off, and when you leave, just put your hoody on, and maybe put a little more cologne on your shirt. But honestly, if you're at a party, lots of people are going to smoking and its going to get over you no matter what. So just keep some gum with you, and tell your mom people always smoke around you. The only difference between going to a party and not smoking and going to a party and smoking is that your breath will smell like smoke unless you chew gum. That's pretty much it. Good luck.

Showering and using a quality shampoo should remove the odor from your hair and skin. Remember, it's actually small chemical particles stuck on you that cause the odor. Simply washing your hair should remove them. Showering should remove the particles from your body, too. And wash your clothes - don't shove them in a hamper or the smell will get worse!

If you smoke Stop! Also if you smoke it takes a good week to get all the Nicotine from your skin by flushing with lots of water. So your Hair will also smell better. Good Luck, and if its not you that's Smoking tell them you don't want them smoking around you.

I spray perfume in my hair. It's the only thing I found that half way works. You'll always be able to smell the smoke though.....

Well, when you get stunk by a skunk, you wash in tomato juice ... once you get the smell out, maybe u should consider stopping smoking (if it's your smell) or quit your job at the local bar!

Soap and water does a body good. Like a daily shampoo can do for smelly hair.
