I don't like the idea of war but who are we to say anything about it.

The brave men and women who are there or who was there are the only ones who should have a voice in it. And sir my son was one of them Marines over there and he was hurt But he wants to go back cause he says the people over there needs them so I stand behind our military not our government or any bleeding heart person who wasn't there!!!!

Well let’s think about this for a second...shall we?

So how to leave Iraq. I think that many people have put forward the idea that once the Iraqi Army is ready to defend itself that we should leave. I am afraid to tell you that it may not be that easy.

Today i write from a military base in Germany. The war ended here just over 60 years ago. And we are just now talking about shrinking the forces we have here.

Iraq is a great place for us strategically. Think about it. Its right smack dab in the middle. Closer to all of our good buddies who need a little more attention than others. It allows us to sit in their back yard and look over the fence.

The fighting will die down. The Iraqis will stand up. They will build a new Iraqi dream, with peace and democracy. They will build a great republic and we will be there every step of the way.

My exit plan as you like to say is victory. Not just military but social. We must not conquer we must effect change. We must not blow up but build. We can not leave; we can not abandon these people until they can stand on their own.

When Iran has a woman as prime minister, we have won. When people live a good life there, we have won. When the desert blooms and the children of Iraq know war only in the museum then we have won.

What hollow victory will sate you? What paper world do you live in? What change have you made?

Or as a wise man once said to me. "Stand up or shut up."

I for one am standing up and supporting my Troops and My Commander and Chief in this time of war. Can you say the same?

Once Iraq has a trained force of it's own and can take care of things without support, we are gone. Not to mention I left Iraq already so my exit plan worked like a charm. All I had to do was serve my time. How about you? Oh thats right, youre too much of a coward to put on a Uniform and serve.

To make this statement you must have an alternative exit plan which will work.

From your previous postings you simply want to see the U.S cut and literally run away, pursued by whooping and cheering insurgents.

Is that what you really want or do you have a sensible suggestion which is actually good for the people of Iraq and the region?

Or do you just want to keep kicking your own country in the nuts for the sake cheap political point scoring?

Exit plan? EXIT PLANS???

If you had any iota of an inkling of a sprinkle of knowledge about military history, you'd have known that there is no such animal as an 'exit plan'. No nation has ever gone to war expecting less than victory. There never was, is, or will ever be an 'exit plan'.

If youhad more knowledge, you'd understand how stupid you all sound.

They don't want to exit. Because they're war supporters. So they like it.

You gave time for an answer before you got it? Is that why you say there is no answer?

Well, take this: As soon as the Iraqi soldiers can take over for themselves. I've heard from some soldiers that we are getting closer to that, but your impatience is going to give you high blood pressure!!! Too bad you have to suffer...

How about getting Al Qaeda out of Iraq, and get Iraq's army so they can defend themselves, then we can send our young people back home.

If we get out to soon it will be another vietnam with wasted deaths. if we wait until the country is self sufficient and able to defend the new government, those deaths won't be wasted.
