Wow, everyone missed the boat on this one.

The most hated religion in the world is Judaism.

Hitler wanted to wipe the existence of all Jews from the earth. The Egyptian empire (I believe more than once) went to kill all the firstborn males. So did the Roman empire. This very day, there will be people who are targeted by bombs and weapons fire simply because of their Jewish faith.

The practice of "hating people of the Jewish faith" is unfortunately so popular that it actually has a name: "anti-semitism"

Hey, I'll be the first to admit that as a Christian I'm not always greeted with "open arms" by a lot of people--but they're not mounting military offensives against me either. And guess what? There are a lot of "Christian-bashers" in the world, but they're not in the dictionary.

I dont' know if there's a most hated religion in the world. But I can assure you there is most likely a most misunderstood religion. Most individual's hate for other religions stems from misunderstandings and misconceptions about other faiths. So the most hated religion in the world for each individual is probably most religions except their own.

Truth. If some one denies God begetting a son which is a characteristic of creation and not the Creator, does not like to create images for Him b/c any representation of Him is setting a limited to Him and multiplying Him into parts b/c He would be here and not there, or there and not here thus committing idolatry or shirk b/c if He is here then some thing there is depending on other than Him and if He is there then some thing here is depending on other than Him. To believe in One God without setting limits to Him and accepting the Final Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as prophesied in most holy documents regardless of the fact that he was Arab (as was Jesus) is the most hated faith.

Do not forget, these lands that terrorists come from are the lands under the dictatorship of U.S. puppets. As far as I know, every one desires living comfortably and not blowing themselves up. Look up your history, the Taliban was sponsored by the U.S. as well as Saddam who himself received $80 mil to have a coupe.

It's not the religion that people may hate as no religion in the world that teach people to be bad guys but it's the people themselves who don't correctly practice or may not truly understand the teaching.

Fundamentalist Christianity, in my opinion. It is hard to believe that the world is 10,000 years old, the Grand Canyon was formed by a great flood over a period of a few years, dinosaurs were put into the ground by God to "test our faith," and anyone that didn't vote for Bush is going to Hell.

I strongly disagree with the Koran too. The origin, the principles, everything.
