First off, taking them to a vet is the best to ease your worries and get a definate answer. My dog had seizures, but they were due to cancer. He had lumps (like worts) all over his upper back. We didn't know until later that they were infact cancerous lumps. Seizures in dogs, like humans, can be caused from a variety of souces. Going to the doctor is the best things for your furry friends.

This does sound like poison because it is both of your dogs. If it was the water, every animal there would be having seizures. Have the vet check them.
Also know that vaccinations can cause seizures in some dogs.

That's really weird. The odds of two dogs suddenly having seizures who never did before are astronomically unlikely! I'd have the home immediately checked for mold and Radon gas, test the water and see if you are near a toxic waste dump or Superfund site. Whatever is causing the problem could affect you, too!

You should take them to a vet. It sounds like it might be parvo. Are there any cats around the area? If so they may have gotten into the cat's poop or urine. I don't think it is the water. But try bottled water if they inprove then you were right but I would go to the vet to be sure.

It could possibly be the water, or it could be caused by any of a number of different things. I would suggest taking your dogs to a vet as soon as possible.

Have your water tested. Or maybe someone poisoned them. If I were you I would get an herbal detox for them. If you can get them to drink it use Celestial Seasonings Detox AM tea. You could also use a big syringe (no needle) to put it down their throats. If it is the water you should detox too.

Is the weather warmer in your new city.....black dogs and heat are bad a combination. My moms dog will have a seizure when its really hot and she gets over excited. They have a kiddie pool outside for her.

It's possible...I think it has to do with pressure on the brain...however there is a medication...you have to take them to the vet though....my grandma's dog used to have seizures if he ever hit his head....

a trip to the vet and some laboratory testing would be best, having two cases should help zero in on the issue, hopefully there's a remedy. good luck, and consider your own health as well! could be environmental...
