Sarcasm is when you say something like "Good Job." when someone drops something. Its a coy way of being mean, which takes extra meaness because you have to think of something nice to say that has a double meaning that's hurtful

sarcasm is when you say something and you really mean the opposite.
ex:
during a Physics class you tell your friend "great another wonderful Physics class" in this example you say that the class will be wonderful, but it is obvious that what you mean is the opposite.
