You can't blame the new people you encounter in life for past burns left by others. Try to remember that as you meet new people and look for the red flags that could indicate deception. To meet new people, the best way is to just get out there. Even if you don't feel like joining your annoying coworkers for a drink after work, go for at least an hour. My mom always said, "Go! You might meet somebody!" And that's very true. You could make a whole bunch of new friends as well and through them meet the love of your life. Get involved in activities you truly enjoy. By getting back in touch with yourself and making yourself happy for your own sake, you'll find someone great when you least expect to. Happy people attract happy people, so go be happy on your own terms and live life. You'll find that special someone...you'll see!

Don't go looking for a new long term relationship quite yet. Enter relationships where both people are just looking for some fun. It may evolve into something more or it may just be a casual fling. You probably got hurt by your last relationship. Give yourself a little time to heal before committing yourself once more.

As weird as this sounds try online dating. Gives you an opportunity to casually flirt with no obligation to continue anything. Get your mack skills back to par (=D) I met my husband online when I wasn't looking for anything serious at all.

Rebound dating! I'm not kidding. Don't expect anything but a good time (and not hat doesn't mean lots of casual sex). Have fun, and be respectful and fair to the women you are dating. Eventually not every memory will include your ex. And you will probably find someone better in the long run.

Ive been there before. the first thing you need is some alone time. during this time you get yourself together and think things through. i say this because it is unfair to the next person you decide to get involved with to still be dwelling on the past. so u use this time to get he other person out of your system you know u move on...gradually though. after that you start off slow. you know like go out to the clubs with your friends or go the the movies you know the things you use to do before you got with your previous girl friend. after that thing will start to come together on their own.

oh, just let it go. why stay hung up on the past. there is too much life out there. you need to live and stop acting like it is over for you. never ever feel scared to love. if you can't do that then you will not have a happy life. life is all about dissapointments and brokenhearts, if it wasn't then you wouldn't be human. go love someone with all you have.
