There are a number of shelters for women in Florida. A lot of them focus primarily on domestic violence, but will also shelter a pregnant juvenile.

You can get a feel for the shelter progrms here: http://www.divorcesource.com/shelters/florida.shtml

However, I get the feeling that a friend was sent to a program and that the friend is pregnant? And maybe you're trying to locate her?

It's good to be a supportive friend, but be sure you don't interfere with some good help that's going on in her life right now. You can visit with her and maybe the baby another day.

Good luck! - Stuart

Sentenced to? What? See above, but if it were you, the court would have directed you to these places.

If you are a pregnant teen and need help, see Planned Parenthood or talk to your Minister or Priest. Talk to a school guidance counselor as a last resort.

If you are a mother, you need to get counseling if you are trying to find someplace to send your daughter.
