why did i choose it to make it the core of my life?

Question

i choosed to be muslim, islam is not just religion or way to communicate with god but it way of life ,actually it core of life
everything muslims make for god
shotcut we lfe with god .for god and by god. islam means in arabic is to surrender to god in very way .we dedicate our life to serve islam even when i study i do that to be an active member in my islamic society.
AND WHAT ABOUT U? what is the core of your life? what is the main thing in ur life that u work to achieve it?
u may agree or disagree with me but i really want to know ur opinion finally i hope u all good,happy long life as i believe that life is chance so make the best use of it

I am trying to make Jesus the center of my life and to do all that He wants of me.

The core of my life is reason.
Making that the core means I don't surrender my will or intellect to anyone or anything. It means I don't have to continually try to find excuses for illogical religious beliefs that contradict the findings of science or my own experience in daily life. And it allows me to make my own decisions as to right/wrong without relying on some book written many hundreds of years ago in a world that was completely different and in which not many of the problems we face today had ever been considered.

To the best of my ability I surrender to Gods will, and seek to follow His Son Jesus Christ. 1 John 2:22 proves that your Allah can not be my God, and why anyone would surrender to an imaginary friend is beyond me.
