For God's sake, why should it be weird? If you are doing it because your daughter needs you to, who cares. If you feel it is more than it is then it is very wrong. I would love for my dad to rub my feet if he were alive. It would not be weird if your mom did it so why would it be weird for your dad. Our world is very screwed up to have to ask such questions and have such neurosis. (sp?)

But seriously people. Why is this considered perverted? People do these little loving things for each other all the time - some are just more touchy, feely (not in a perverted way) than others. This could be a habit that was formed when the child was young and it got to be just a symbol of their closeness especially if this action also induces the child to confide in the parent of things that are going on in her life.
No, I do not think it is weird.

Relax! IT S NOT PERVERTED AT ALL.
It is normal for a teenager to have her daddy pay attention to her by helping her ease her feet with a massage.
My husband and my daughter's dad (one and the same) do it for each other all the time. My daughter who is 19 today will very childishly come up to her dad and sweetly ask him if he would rub her feet . She has feet that ache a lot and since I dont like doing it (or actually I need it too) my husband her dad does it for her and in th e healthiest way.
People who think its perverted may not view the entire circumstances around it, may have themselves had feet massaged by their lovers or other and not focused precisely as a just good massage to ease the entire body.
the feet is wehre all the nerve endings are that go throughout the body. it triggers relief when massaged!
So people get your mind set straight! NOt all dad's are perverted because they rub their teen's daughter's feet!
In my home we have no perverted anything. My husband is a good man who loves his daughter very much. I only had one because I got very ill when I had her. So she is a gem to us. WHY COULDNT HER DAD GIVE HER A MASSAGE ON TH FEET? its feet !!

WOW.............It is quite obvious that you feel weird or have been told that it is weird. I was a mental health tech. and first off, it doesn't take a degree to tell you this...........If you are rubbing your daughters feet whether you know it or not, it is sexual. Now don't get me wrong, if she had an injury and you were trying to aid her that is different. But to just enjoy rubbing her feet you need to see a doctor. Something is seriously wrong with this situation. The fact that you even asked tells me that you already know it's wrong. That is your daughter........what is next......intercourse. I'm glad I don't know who you are because if I did I would report you for sexual abuse because I doubt if she is the first and only one. I would say it depends on the two individuals and the situation. Massage is good, and if everyone thought it sexual then it wouldn't be legal. Touch is healthful and is necessary for humans to thrive. Studies have proved that if chimps are deprived of parental touch and contact, they become dysfunctional and die.
If it is comfortable for the child and parent, and is not meant or considered to be anything but warm and comforting, I see nothing wrong with it. I am sorry for those up-tight individuals that are condemning this as perverted.

I see no harm in it if it is done for anything other than sexual stimulation for either the giver or getter. If my mother offered to rub my sore feet and I thought it would help I would gladly appreciate it.. after I washed them :)
I am sure it is no different than a back massage when you keep your shirt on, and the reaction from people on here might be different?
As long as there is no degree of intimacy, why not?
If either of you are sexually stimulated by it.. it is too personal and should probably not be happening.

my step daughter comes over just to get her feet rubbed by her daddy. then she says ' my back daddy.' then ' my head daddy' then rub my leeeegggggssss' then it's night night time for the baby girl.
she's 17 and drives over and falls asleep on the living room floor!
when she wakes up she goes home (after about 3 or 4 hours of sleeping) to her mom's house down the street.
he put her to sleep like this when she was a baby and a little girl. there's nothing wrong with it.

You're not perverted. You just do favors for your daughter that other dads don't. It just seems weird to other people because usually men rub their spouse's feet to get stress off them. It just seems weird to other people, but if your daughter likes a foot rub I say give her a foot rub!

it's weird because it's a sexual fetish and your getting off rubbing yr daughters feet but if yr doing it because she walks 20 miles to work and stands up for 20 hours and walk 20 miles back then stand up again to do some house then thats a good reason if not then yr a pervert.
