Doesn't surprise me. There are probably a lot of other animals we haven't discovered or thought was extinct out there. There are still parts of the world never ventured into. Some of the the deep deep jungles of Africa, Asia and even South America.
With all the building going on all over, animals are coming out in the open because they have no place to go anymore.

I think, for someone to find a creature thought to be completely extinct after all these years is facinating. It also make us wonder, what about so many other species we've thought extinct for so long? Could there be a possibility that they may still, indeed, exist somewhere? While not a very attractive and probably not useful creature, I still find it very interesting.

fossil testing in which they GUESS at how many "millions" of years something existed, is a joke. The carbon-14 method of testing these fossils has been disproved but still they use it as their method of estimating the age of something. This article you point to just proves their testing method wrong again.

Well this kind of stuff happens all the time. And some real bright scientist says "...wow, this thing survived 11 million years in downtown Orlando, wow...".
They just can't see that their theory is wrong.

It is really the most interesting thing I've read or seen all week, just goes to show you that there are strange things going on in this big world that people do not realize yet.

My own opinion is that Earth is not THAT old. I go w/Bible that it is less than 6,000 yo...
NOT because I was raised to believe the Bible, but that I believe it because it has worked for me.
Funny......a thousand years from now, it won't make any difference. The Earth is the Lords and the fullness thereof.

I think it's interesting. A new (rather old) animal was discovered. It isn't that deep though.

Before any creationists say anything else, this does not IN ANY WAY invalidate evolution to any extent.
