Absolutely! Any woman who has three or more cats has SERIOUS problems. It should be noted that the defensive women who answered this question above all own cats and don't have boyfriends. You'd think they'd put 2 and 2 together.
Incidently, we're also suspicious of women who have 2 cats. Or 1 cat. Cats suck. Guys like dogs. And you can trust a guy with a dog - he can commit and you know he's not the type to stay out all night, since he has to walk the dog every day.
You might not like it, but you better believe it.

I'm a guy and for sure never heard of this rule, If I date a women that has more then three cats don't mean a thing to me . I actually think women who like and have multiple cats are more sensitive, caring and knowledgeable then average.
This rule and whoever came up with it must be a very insecure person to worry about cats and dating.

NO -- I am a woman, and I have 9 cats (technically - my family has 9 cats)... I don't think that is a fair rule... we just have big hearts, and a lot of land... and we like to give love to stray animals :)

No! The cats don't tell how the person will react to you or vice versa. No animal should be used as an excuse to date or not to date a person. That is totally ridiculous!

Maybe that's why my dates only last 1 time, I have 4 cats, the male Persian gets in EVERYBODY'S face, but he's just VERY loving. Then I have " bitchy kitty" she chases all other animals out of my yard! Any older guys[ 50^ interested out there?}

As a woman w/ cats, no. However, pets are sensitive to someones real character. If the cats like you; there's a chance. If you get dive bombed...well... that speaks for itself.

never heard of that one! I have two cats and would love 3, as much as I love my cats, they are cats, not babies and I treat them with respect, but I treat them like cats.
