If so, how? And does anyone know what "Pra Frente Brasil" means? (Obviosly something about Brasil, but what are the other 2 words?)

Yes, I'm from Brasil and I can tell you there are some differences. Some words are written slightly differently, some words used in Portugal people in Brazil don't understand at all, and I believe the opposite happens too. And also for example: in Brazilian portuguese the word "bicha" means "gay" whether in portuguese from Portugal it means "line, queue", and there are a looot more examples like this.
And "Pra Frente Brasil" means "Go Brasil!"
It is also a name of a song (from the 70s) with a whole political meaning behind it. The government wanted the population to believe in the nation and the only good thing going on in the country back then was our excellent soccer team, so they made up that song which was the "soundtrack" of the World Cup back in the 70s, but it's still very famous nowadays.

I know that American, Canadian, British, and Australian English are all different from one anouther. But, they are all basically the same.

yes ; ; they are bascically the same language but completely different dialects and idioms, one doesn't neccessarily understand the other . . .
