Yes, I was married to a man who was wonderful, but there is a downside to it. In order to stay in love the intimacy needs to be there. We later divorced and remained good friends, which was what we were in the first place. I have since remarried and I am glad because I missed being intimate with someone. Good luck.

Of course! People are intimate with each other all of the time even when they don't feel love for their partner.

Yes, intamacy isn't always about love or a sexual thing. You could be intimate with your mom or your best friend- it's just about having a "connection" (for lack of a better word) with that person.

I think theyre called friends. If by intimate, you mean close.
But if you mean by intimate, sleeping together, well, I'd think that you just had your first one night stand.

People are intimate and not in love more times than not.
If you have love and intimacy, that's just gravy.

You can't be intimate with someone you're not in love with. That's just lust.

Short answer, NO. Its called "making love" for a reason. Without love sex is just a bodily function.

Sure! It will probably only happen tonight about ten millon times. If they're married, then it still can happen, and does. We all have needs, physical as well as emotional. So, yes they can.
